My journey with leathercraft began out of both frustration and curiosity. As a student, I was tired of fast fashion bags that wore out quickly and ended up in landfills. I wanted something better—something timeless, durable, and built to last.

At the time, I couldn’t afford a well-made leather bag, so I got creative. I took my mother’s old leather college bag and hand-sewed a small purse for everyday use. With no formal training—just a desire to make something that mattered—I stitched it together piece by piece.

I didn’t set out to make it a career. Leatherwork was just something I explored for fun, creating small items like bookmarks, bow ties, and purses. I even opened a little online shop, but life pulled me in other directions, and I never had the time to fully dive in.

Now, years later, I’ve come back to it with new purpose. What began as a personal project has grown into a passion worth pursuing—a commitment to crafting beautiful, long-lasting leather bags that honor both the material and the hands that shape it.

Each piece I make is designed with intention: to age gracefully, to be repaired rather than replaced, and to stay with you for years—not seasons. My hope is to create not just bags, but heirlooms—pieces that carry stories, not just things.
